Elisa joined Ballentine Partners in 2020 as the Director of Private Investments. In this role, she oversees the firm’s private investing program which includes private equity, credit, real estate, and infrastructure. Elisa has 21 years of asset management experience of which 18 have been focused in private equity. As the lead investor for Ballentine’s private equity pooled vehicles, her responsibilities include sourcing and analyzing venture capital, growth equity, and buyout investment opportunities in the United States, Europe and Asia. Elisa is also a member of the firm’s Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Ballentine Partners, Elisa spent 15 years with Liberty Mutual Investments in the private equity group. In her role, she helped manage the firm’s $5.1B billion private equity investment program, working across multiple strategies, geographies and transaction types. Earlier in her career, Elisa worked at Jarislowsky, Fraser Limited as an Assistant Portfolio Manager on the international public equities team. Jarislowsky, Fraser Limited is a global investment management firm headquartered in Montreal.

Elisa received her MBA from the Brandeis International Business School and earned her Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University.

Elisa is originally from Montreal, Canada and has lived in Boston for nearly 20 years. She currently lives in Needham, MA, with her husband and three boys. During her free time, Elisa runs after her kids, enjoys cooking and baking, and goes on ski vacations with her family.
