In her role as a Partner and Senior Client Advisor, Emily takes great pride as a caretaker of families’ comprehensive financial lives, ensuring that all aspects of wealth and estate planning, tax strategy, and philanthropy are aligned with their vision and values.

Emily has over 14 years of experience in consulting and investment management. Prior to joining Ballentine in 2018, she led the Lee Family Office in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she oversaw investment management, estate and tax planning, legal, and philanthropic matters for a single-family office and foundation. Previously, she was a Client Advisor at SCS Financial, where she served the comprehensive wealth management needs of high-net-worth families. Emily started her career in M&A advisory at KPMG, LLP.

Emily received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Babson College and a Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University.  She is currently pursuing the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM designation.  Emily is a Board member of the Barbara Lee Family Foundation and is passionate about advancing the Foundation’s mission of gender parity in politics and contemporary art.

Emily is an avid runner, skier, and lover of nature. On the weekends, you can find her cheering on her son at the soccer field, participating in her daughter’s Girl Scout troop activities, or walking her dog, Bert, on one of Westford’s many conservation trails.
