Barry is a Partner & Chief Operating Officer at the firm. His work with families spans the full range of issues related to wealth management, including investment strategy, estate planning, philanthropy, as well as the financial education of family members. In addition to his work with clients, Barry leads the firm’s Operations Group.
Prior to joining the firm in 2006, Barry was a Director with Mercer Management Consulting (now Oliver Wyman), where he provided counsel to senior executives at major corporations and investment firms. His experience included market and company analysis, portfolio planning, investment evaluation and due diligence, M&A, business strategy design, and operational improvement. Previously, Barry was a Senior Research Associate with Greenwich Associates, where he managed financial market studies covering banking and brokerage services in North America and Europe.
Barry received a Master of Management degree, with distinction, from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. At Kellogg, he completed majors in Finance, Marketing, and Management Strategy. Barry also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, with honors, from Princeton University. Barry holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society Boston.
During his free time, Barry conducts admissions interviews for Princeton as a member of the Princeton Alumni Schools Committee and is a member of the Family Wealth Alliance’s Operations Leader Roundtable. Barry lives in Weston, MA, where he has served on the town’s Community Preservation Committee.
