Kyle is a Partner and Senior Investment Advisor at the firm and sits on Ballentine’s Board of Directors. Kyle works with a number of the firm’s largest and most sophisticated clients, providing customized investment advice. He also sits on the Investment Management Committee, the team responsible for asset allocation, manager selection, and portfolio construction.
Prior to joining the firm in 2003, Kyle spent two years in Hamilton, Bermuda working at Ace Tempest Life Re as a Vice President and Risk Officer. His responsibilities included all investment related functions of the company including asset allocation, manager selection, performance monitoring, and equity market exposure hedging. Prior to that, he spent 9 years at John Hancock Life Insurance Company as an investment analyst and later as a portfolio manager within John Hancock’s fixed income group.
Kyle graduated from Brown University, Magna Cum Laude, with a BA in Applied Mathematics. He was awarded the Rohne Truel Premium for excellence in Applied Mathematics, an award that honors the top graduating Applied Math student. Kyle was previously a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Kyle is married with two children and lives in the Boston area. During his free time, Kyle enjoys baseball, watching live music, and collecting wine.
