Leor manages the firm’s private investment operations, structuring Ballentine-managed commingled funds and overseeing their day-to-day operations. He is responsible for oversight of related third-party service providers, cash flow management, subscription and onboarding processes, external audits, and data management. Leor focuses on operational improvement projects aiming to streamline existing processes and scaling the private investment program as Ballentine continues to enhance its capabilities and client offerings.
Prior to joining Ballentine Partners, Leor worked at HarbourVest Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm. He participated in structuring new private equity funds and led the creation of fund collateral, including legal and marketing materials. He was also responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on portfolios of direct co-investments, developing cash flow models, and maintaining investment databases. Prior to that, Leor spent nine years at Bain Capital focused on investor relations and operations. He has also worked in portfolio operations at JP Morgan Chase in Boston and interned in the capital markets division of Bank Hapoalim, a leading Israeli bank.
Leor earned his MBA with a concentration in management from Boston College and earned his Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Massachusetts, Isenberg School of Management. Leor is fluent in Hebrew.
Residing in Norwood with his wife and two children, Leor spends time outdoors with his family, cycling, playing guitar, and traveling. He is an avid Boston sports fan. Leor sits on the Board of the New England region of the Anti-Defamation League, an international civil rights organization.
