Karen serves as an Administrative Assistant at Ballentine Partners, bringing a wealth of experience from her 12-year tenure as Deputy Town Clerk.  In that role, she provided administrative support to the residents of Wolfeboro, demonstrating a strong commitment to public service and community engagement.  In recognition of her positive impact and collaborative spirit, Karen was recently honored with the firm’s Spirit Award, celebrating her ability to brighten others’ days, foster collaboration, and help create a positive and engaging workplace.

Passionate about helping others, Karen has volunteered with Caregivers of Southern Carroll County, where she provided transportation to medical appointments and offered companionship through meaningful conversations.

Originally from California, Karen relocated to New Hampshire in 1993 following her husband Mike’s five-year assignment in Germany with the Air Force.  They reside in Wolfeboro, NH, and have one daughter, Shelby, who is thriving in Portland, Oregon.

A devoted reader, Karen almost always has a book close at hand. In her free time, she enjoys a wide range of outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. Pickleball has recently become her newest passion. She also enjoys playing table tennis, watching Jeopardy, and working in her yard, garden, and woods alongside her husband.
