At Ballentine Partners, we believe that important milestones deserve to be celebrated in a meaningful way. When the idea of creating a video to commemorate our 40th anniversary took shape, it quickly transformed into a full-fledged production, resulting in a film that captures the essence of who we are.
Inspired by our rich history and guided by the talented team at Flannel, Inc., led by Creative Director John Turner, we embarked on a journey to tell our story authentically. Their tight-knit group brought a creative vision that resonated with our goals: to present a narrative that showcases not just our achievements, but also the people behind them.
The film intricately weaves together the origin and history of Ballentine Partners, featuring Roy’s insights along with rich documentation that pays homage to our founding roots. It highlights our core values, articulating the culture that has defined us for the past four decades and will continue to shape our future. Through heartfelt interviews with our team, we aimed to go beyond the conventional “talking heads” corporate video format, capturing the genuine spirit of our employees both in and out of the office. The addition of the “human approach b-roll” allows us to present a well-rounded view of our team, appealing to prospective clients and future employees alike.
Our target audience for the film is diverse, ranging from Centers of Influence (COIs) to potential clients, and recruits. By highlighting the special value we deliver through our decidedly human approach, we hope to resonate with families and individuals who share our values.
The production timeline was ambitious, kicking off this summer and culminating in a flurry of filming activities in various locations, including Florida and Ragnar Reach the Beach, wrapping up in September—a photo finish to a creative endeavor that we are immensely proud of.
