We’re proud to announce that the Boston Estate Planning Council has elected Senior Client Advisor Debra A. Whitney, MS, CFP®, to their Board of Directors. Deb has been active with BEPC for several years, currently as the Board liaison to the Membership Committee and as a member of the Budget/Finance committee and serving previously as the Chair and Vice Chair of their Membership Committee and Vice Chair of the Women’s Initiative Committee. She and the rest of the Board were featured in the Boston Business Journal’s People on the Move on July 3.

Deb is a Senior Client Advisor at the firm. While she is responsible for multiple areas of wealth management, she has a particular focus on assisting multigenerational families in defining and then achieving their goals through wealth transfer planning, philanthropic engagement, and financial education of family members. Before joining the firm in 2007, Deb held positions in exercise science and coaching. She was a Physiologist in the National Team Division for USA Swimming where she conducted research and advised National Team coaches and swimmers on the physiology of training and competition. She is a current member of the Professional Advisors Network at The Boston Foundation and pursuing her Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy designation. Learn more about Deb Whitney.
