Ballentine Partners is happy to announce that Stephen H. Hopkins, Partner and Senior Client Advisor, has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of the National Philanthropic Trust.

NPT has added three board members this year, Ann Dugan, Kelly Williams, J.D., and Ballentine Partners’ Stephen Hopkins. The National Philanthropic Trust is a nonprofit dedicated to “providing philanthropic expertise to individuals, foundations, and institutions, creating custom solutions for unique philanthropic goals.” Stephen is a valuable addition to their ranks, with deep knowledge and extensive experience in wealth management and philanthropy.

Stephen Hopkins is a Partner and Senior Client Advisor at the firm. In his work with families, Stephen draws on his strategic planning skills, investment expertise and hands-on operating experience to help complex multigenerational families and related businesses achieve their goals. Prior to joining Ballentine Partners in 2016, he was a founder and Vice Chairman of Roundtable Investment Partners. At Roundtable Investment Partners, Stephen served as Chief Operating Officer and Co-Head of the Investment team. Stephen is currently an independent director of Fund Evaluation Group, an institutional investment consulting, portfolio management and research firm, SRL Global, a financial services technology company and the National Philanthropic Trust, a public charity dedicated to providing philanthropic expertise to donors, foundations and financial institutions.
