Liz is a Senior Client Advisor at the firm, working to curate all aspects of clients’ finances to suit their individual needs.

Prior to joining Ballentine Partners, Liz served as the Investment Director at Cabot-Wellington, LLC – a multigenerational single family office in Boston – where she oversaw $700M of individual, trust, and foundation assets. Working closely with the family, she provided customized investment advice and complex wealth transfer planning strategies. Prior to Cabot-Wellington, Liz spent five years at Wellington Management in several capacities leading various initiatives within the firm’s Investment Research Services group as a subject matter expert on proxy voting, ESG, and corporate access. Liz began her career in 2008 as a financial advisor for AXA Equitable in their Retirement Benefits Group.

Liz is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®  (CFP®), a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®), and is finalizing her Accredited Estate Planner (AEP®) designation. Liz obtained a BS in finance from the University at Buffalo and an MBA from UMass Amherst. She is active in the Boston Estate Planners Council and volunteers for the CFP Board as a subject matter expert.

Liz is a resident of Charlestown, MA, a Buffalo native, and a lifelong Bills fan. She is a passionate learner and advocate for opportunity. She is the founder of the Ladies Lifting Up Ladies Scholarship Fund, which benefits women pursuing an education in a STEM field from her high school alma mater.
