Sam is a Senior Client Advisor at the firm. His area of expertise is managing and implementing clients’ complex estate planning and investment strategies. Sam serves as a specialized resource for his clients, whose families often have extensive financial infrastructure including multiple family investment and charitable entities.
Prior to joining the firm in 2004, Sam worked for Goldman Sachs as an Analyst in the Global Operations division for Fixed Income where his team was responsible for managing and improving trade flow for Goldman’s sales and trading businesses in the mortgage-backed securities markets.
Sam graduated from Tufts University, Magna Cum Laude, with a BA in International Relations. While at Tufts, Sam also earned the Diploma of the International Program in Political and Social Sciences from Sciences Po in Paris. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner. Sam is the President-elect of the Financial Planning Association of New England. He is active in his community as a School Board Member at Plymouth Elementary School in Plymouth, NH where he and his family reside.
Sam is a disciplined recreational runner and has completed several road races, including a marathon and a half-marathon. Sam has also traveled abroad and in the United States and enjoys eating and cooking a wide variety of international cuisines.
