Taryn is a Wealth Planner at the firm, where she works with individuals and families on a broad range of wealth management matters, including estate planning, cash flow management, and financial education for next-generation family members. Since joining the firm in 2012, Taryn has worked extensively with clients, estate planning attorneys, accountants, and trustees to coordinate trust administration, implement sophisticated estate planning strategies, and oversee complex wealth transfer techniques.
Over the years, she has developed particular expertise in navigating the complexities of the estate settlement process and helping clients identify and manage a broad range of risks. As one of the firm’s in-house resources on risk-related matters, she provides guidance to clients and colleagues on topics including cybersecurity, identity theft, and personal and commercial insurance exposures.
Prior to joining the firm, Taryn served as Office Manager at Lakes Region Water Company, Inc., where she oversaw customer billing, payroll, benefits administration, state compliance reporting, and financial operations. She also implemented electronic billing and payment capabilities within the company’s financial software. Earlier in her career, she worked as a bookkeeper for a local excavation and logging company and served as an independent reporting consultant for small community water systems throughout New Hampshire.
Taryn earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Boston University, where she pursued pre-medical studies. Although her career ultimately took a different path, her scientific training fostered a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving while reinforcing her commitment to helping people navigate complex and meaningful life decisions.
Outside of work, Taryn enjoys skiing, sporting events and concerts, spending time at the lake, visiting with family and friends, and cheering on her son at hockey games. She hopes to explore her family’s Greek and German heritage through future travel. Taryn lives in Holderness, New Hampshire with her family and rescue cats, Dexter (“Boss Man”) and Blue (“Boo-Boo”).
