Jamar Gopie is a Wealth Planning Associate on the Family Office Team. In his role, he enjoys building meaningful relationships and helping clients achieve their goals. Prior to joining Ballentine Partners, Jamar was a Client Relationship Manager at VIM Wealth Management, an RIA in Miami, FL.
Before his time at VIM, Jamar was a Financial Professional at Coastal Wealth, focusing on business development and providing financial planning support for Lead Advisors. Jamar has experience in Life Insurance & Disability planning. He is currently pursuing his Certified Financial Planner designation.
Jamar also provides mentorship and guidance to athletes at the grassroot and collegiate levels. He is passionate about his community and gives back through annual events focused on supporting various non-profit organizations in South Florida. Jamar graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration and a minor in Psychology.
Jamar is a Florida native. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, coaching his basketball team, trying new restaurants and spending time with his family and friends.
