Jeff is a Partner & Chief Financial Officer at the firm. He works with both domestic and international clients, applying his experience from private equity, corporate development, investment banking, and commercial lending. Within the firm, Jeff serves as CFO and as a member of the Investment Policy Committee. He previously led the Client Experience Council, which is focused on the quality of client experience across the firm.

Prior to Ballentine Partners, Jeff ran a family office start-up consulting firm and was a Partner at a private equity firm, Capital Resource Partners, where he served in both an investment and COO capacity.

Prior to working in private equity, Jeff was Vice President of Corporate Development for Reeves Industries, Inc., a family-owned manufacturing company with operations in the United States and Europe.

Early in his career, Jeff worked in New York for CS First Boston in their restructuring group advising debtors and creditors and for Chemical Bank as a commercial lending officer executing leveraged loan transactions.

Jeff has an MBA from Yale, with a concentration in Finance, and a BA from Williams College.

Jeff volunteers for several non-profit organizations, many of which have connections to the outdoors and the environment. He enjoys hockey, CrossFit, hiking, art history, and traveling with his wife Jennifer to visit their children.
