Julie is a Senior Impact Investment Manager at the firm and works closely with our Director of Impact Investing where she has an instrumental role in helping identify impact opportunities by conducting market research and providing recommendations to the investment team.
Prior to joining the firm in 2018, Julie received her Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy (MALD) at the Fletcher School of International Affairs at Tufts University. While attending Fletcher, Julie interned for Trillium Asset Management and spent her final semester at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. Her master’s thesis, “The Case for SDG Investing: A Portfolio Building Exercise” focused on integrating the UN Sustainable Development Goals into financial strategies.
Prior to graduate school, Julie lived in Tel Aviv, Israel, for six years. She worked with the UN Refugee Agency and the International Organization for Migration on refugee and asylum seeker programming in the Middle East.
She finds great joy in helping families align their social values with impact-focused investment opportunities.
Julie has earned a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy (MALD) from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, while also being a two-time NCAA Atlantic 10 Champion in Rowing.
Julie loves to cook, travel, and ski. She is fluent in Hebrew.
