Kim Ayer is a Principal and the Director of Finance at Ballentine Partners, where she oversees the company’s corporate accounting functions. She is responsible for preparing financial reports, maintaining accurate accounting records, and ensuring appropriate controls are in place to mitigate risk and support the firm’s financial integrity.
Prior to joining the firm in 2008, Kim served as Assistant Controller at Community Bank & Trust Company, where she prepared management financial reports, analyzed monthly expenses, and supported both internal and external audits. Earlier in her career, she held bookkeeping and accounting roles at New Horizons New Hampshire, Merchants Automobile Group, and Merrimack County Savings Bank.
Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Franklin Pierce College and a master’s degree in accounting and finance from Southern New Hampshire University.
She lives in Franklin, New Hampshire, with her husband. Outside of work, Kim enjoys reading, spending time with family, and is actively involved with the Diversity Workforce Coalition (DWC).
