Sheila is a Partner and Senior Client Advisor at the firm.  A significant portion of Sheila’s practice involves estate planning, wealth transfer and investment management with a particular focus on philanthropy, impact investing, financial education and coaching for the rising generation.  Sheila works closely with each member of a family to ensure clarification of values, building of financial skills, and empowerment from one generation to the next.

Sheila is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy®. She is a past member of the Professional Advisors Committee, and is past co-chair of the Professional Advisors Network, at the Boston Foundation.

Prior to joining the firm in 2007, Sheila earned a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy (MALD) from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, concentrating on international business and international trade policy. Prior to that, Sheila worked at Bear Stearns & Co., Inc. in the credit risk management department. Sheila graduated from the University of California at Berkeley, Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, with a B.A. in Economics.

Sheila is a member of the Boston Board of Directors of Thrive Scholars, a national education nonprofit that provides high-achieving, low-income students of color with the opportunities they need to thrive at top colleges and in meaningful careers. Sheila also serves on the Community Advisory Board of WBUR, Boston’s NPR news station.

Sheila is particularly passionate about environmental conservation and sustainable agriculture and serves on the board of Lexington Community Farm Coalition.  She and her husband, Jason, have two young children and live in Lexington, MA.
